If you’ve been thinking about a London trip for Christmas, early next year or next summer, now’s a good time to book it. Crown Group’s sale takes up to 45% off stays at all six of our central London hotels, with the discount already built into the prices on our website. No codes, no hoops.

No fuss, no extras you won’t use. What you get is a clean, comfortable room in the heart of London, close to the museums, theatres and transport links that make a city break easy. The sale just makes that base better value.

How the Sale Works

A hotel bed with a teal headboard, white linens, yellow accent pillows, and rolled white towels on the bed runner.

There are two ways to save, and you choose the one that suits your trip:

  • 30% off standard rates. You keep the flexibility of our usual booking terms.
  • 45% off non-refundable rates. The biggest saving, but the booking can’t be cancelled or changed.

If you’re not sure which to pick, our guide to standard vs non-refundable hotel rates walks you through it.

When to Book

  • 11/11 Sale: book between 26 October and 16 November 2026
  • Black Friday Sale: book between 17 November and 3 December 2026

Both sales offer the same savings on the same stay dates, so if you miss the first, you’ve got a second chance.

When You Can Stay

  • 17 to 26 December 2026
  • 2 January to 11 April 2027
  • 16 July to 31 August 2027

The sale applies to all six hotels and is subject to availability.

Three Good Reasons to Book Ahead

Each stay window suits a different kind of trip.

December. The city at its most festive, with Christmas lights, winter markets, theatre and long walks between museums on a cold afternoon. This is the shortest window, so it’s worth booking early if you have dates in mind.

January to April. A quieter London. Museums and galleries are easier to enjoy, the parks start to come back to life in spring, and it’s a practical time for a short business trip.

July and August. Long days made for exploring on foot. River walks, parks, markets and evenings in the West End. Our guide to a London staycation this summer has more ideas.

Staying in Bloomsbury

If culture’s top of your list, Bloomsbury puts you close to the British Museum and a 15 to 20 minute walk from the West End. Euston and King’s Cross are a short walk away, and Euston Square and Goodge Street stations are close by on foot. For the City of London, you’ll need a short Tube ride.

There are three Crown Group hotels on Gower Street:

  • The Bloomsbury Palace Hotel was fully refurbished in December 2025 and is close to the British Museum and the West End theatres.
  • At Hotel Cavendish, every room is en-suite. Rooms are compact, and continental breakfast is included in every rate.
  • Arran House Hotel has the larger rooms of the three. Eight of its room types are en-suite and four share a bathroom, so check which you’re booking. Continental breakfast is included in every rate.

Staying Near King’s Cross

The Mabledon Court Hotel is around an 8 minute walk from King’s Cross St Pancras, which makes it handy if you’re arriving by train or Eurostar. It reopened in July 2026 after a full refurbishment, with refreshed rooms and a completely overhauled lobby. Breakfast isn’t served at Mabledon Court, but there are plenty of cafés nearby.

Staying in the City of London

The Great St Helen Hotel is in the Square Mile, close to Liverpool Street station on the Elizabeth, Central, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. It suits business trips in the City, and Shoreditch is a 10 to 15 minute walk. For the West End, you’ll want a short Tube ride.

Staying in Farringdon

The Hatton Garden Hotel sits in London’s historic jewellery quarter, close to Farringdon station and the Elizabeth line. It’s one stop from King’s Cross on the Circle line and close to Clerkenwell, which makes it a good fit for couples and weekenders who want a quieter neighbourhood with good links across the city.

Why Staying Central Saves You More

A cheaper hotel on the edge of the city can cost more than it looks once you add daily fares and time spent travelling. Stay central and a lot of London is a walk away. You can drop your bags back mid-afternoon, head out again in the evening, and skip the late-night journey home after a show or a film. If a night at the cinema is on your list, see our guide to planning the perfect BFI IMAX visit.
